This GIRL is on FIRE!!!
The famous words, where do I start, most definitely apply here. When my dad told me I had a sister quite a while ago, I fell for it. I did the math, she could of been, same last names and all. He let me hang on to that one for a while, thanks dad. But because of that I met a friend who stood next me on my wedding day. It’s not her I’m talking about, but this pretty special daughter she had who pretty much steals everyone’s heart she comes near. She also got to throw some flowers on the ground on my big day too! I have watched her grow up so far and she is nothing less than amazing! I won’t go on about all the stories that are going through my brain, but this is one of those mountain movers. I have a teacher background with two degrees. My one degree allowed me to teach kindergarten, and then later I moved to fifth grade. Why am I telling you this, because on top of knowing her, I got to have this young lady in kindergarten AND fifth grade! I didn’t mention it yet, but she also Cystic Fibrosis. I remember meeting with Chantel and she went over all the scenarios about things that could happen, half freaked out, but I’d do it all again to hang out with Ms Dave! As I tear up editing all these and am looking at how beautiful she has grown to be, I am so proud to be in a little piece of her life. She has had ups and downs, and I will tell you what… I have never heard this young lady even use one ounce of an excuse on her disease. She is just one tough cookie and I didn’t write this for any reason but to brag about HER! She rocks life, school, sports, and then is smart and beautiful on top of all of it! If you ever met her and saw her every day, you would never know how many treatments and pills she deals with daily. I have seen this idea and when Chantel approached me… ABSOLUTELY!!!! I couldn’t even think of a better model to have some fun with! It’s kids like this that make your days as a teacher better, and I miss it like crazy, but its shoots like these that point my heart in the right direction!! ! Enjoy
