Traveling Dress...

I am pretty darn excited about this next project… I have seen a few of these floating around and as soon as I saw this beauty I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. So what the heck is a traveling dress… It’s a shared dress that goes to different creatives, and I got it for a little over a week. As I wanted to focus mostly of the wedding world, where my heart really lives, I wanted to push myself to have some fun and go all out. So with a few miles under my @$$, a little planning, and some pretty sweet people that are in my circle of life.. VOILA… here it is!!! I couldn’t wait to put it all together and it was harder than heck to pick just a few to share… so first up… A Lifestyle Farm Shoot with some of my faves…. which by the way, I loved every part of this!!! If you ever want me to just creep in on your life and tell your story… give me a call, I adored how fun this was and how it turned out!!

After I got pretty giddy about this one… it was time to have fun and give the dress a little “edge,” insert Shelby. I cruised up to Minot and where she lived was perfect. Minot has such a fun feel downtown. With all the buildings, and railroads… we basically took a walk around her block. Shelby was actually my little freshman when I coached volleyball. So fun to see “my kiddos” all grown. Thanks for a good time girl…

If I haven’t raved about Art and Andy enough… these chicas are the Bomb diggity!!! If being just genuinely good people with sweet personalities isn’t enough, they kinda rock at the decorating gig..Like seriously, I want to shoot at EVERY wedding they get to be a part of. I can’t wait until the next time we get to cross path. With this shoot, they couldn’t have nailed it better. It was so fun to put this simple, easy going vintage feel together for what I entitled A Whisky Styled shoot. Natasha was perfect and the cherry on top, and Crabapple Floral put together an AMAZING arrangement that added the perfect touch. Cheers ladies!!!

It wouldn’t be a wrap unless I put a pretty little thing in this dress with a wonderful almost perfect sunset. I met Cheyenne quite a few years ago and I am pretty sure between chatting about amazing places on this earth to visit, hitting volleyballs, and your occasional backyard competitive game nights, our paths will continue to wander. She had allowed me to be apart of her family growing and to capture some pretty special moments, first with her pups, now with her growing family. She wears a bump like a rockstar, and pretty much rocked this shoot. Cheers to new life!!!

I know I said she was last… but right before it went into the mail my husband thought we should try something. SO I did put that dress on myself, and he took me in the middle of a cactus patch, and we played with our horses. It wasn’t in the original plan, but I support his ideas and you never know.. might have myself a second shooter someday:) Photo Credit: Austin Jensen
